I use it only on LAN; at one time I wanted to connect to it from outside my LAN and found this article http://blog.codezen.org/2011/06/29/android-mediatomb-upnplay-music-anywhere/ which I found really cool at the time, but sincerely I can't recall why now. Maybe because you connect to it securely via ssh? Anyhow if that's not a priority a simple dynamic dns service for connecting to your home network from outside (supposing you don't pay for a static ip) should be enough HTH, renato -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v2.0.19 (GNU/Linux) iQEcBAEBAgAGBQJQaw7DAAoJEBz6xFdttjrfDhIIAJ1fBzrcYE3e+u5jFcv0Bx4b SI3iVcvrmj9mU077+0FhaUffjgVZn4+ulsKa7kiAYP/MWIP6jU5ny+kV5k2o6MNX cJzlInt5Gzf1XBW6bpRU5j85Jvr0J6WhVZNYLdbmAcrCJ4XbgaRafFBPYauEMxEQ Tf0dN3ztKgsdTdp+Ywm/TAs5lFahG4og0LslT4J6geEREUDzqZSeoOnbyI3QQbdC ++bfTWBEFz8aKmgxJJEbOKEP6FnUYe6EtL9SPPiSHCfbdb8M6Ac/biZGkW+WxtSp GU0QV3N+37NFg2j69RAq0HMrtRRWYEUXxG2xw5FcJhePfFJZop1GFK0ldS/y6qw= =551r -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- _______________________________________________ Linux-audio-user mailing list Linux-audio-user@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx http://lists.linuxaudio.org/listinfo/linux-audio-user
