I have tried qtraktor to use it as slave to my atari. It works, but the synchronization of the tempo is not very good.

Another problem is that I can't recored different midi-channels to one track at once. Qtraktor mix all midi-channels to one midi-channel. That's not what I want. Maybe I miss something.

Hallo,

I want do sync my old atari programs with mtn/mmc to jack.

I did some experiments with ardour rosegarden and muse. Start and stop
commandos work, but all programs don't synchronize the tempo.
Is there a program that can sync jack as slave to external mtc or midi
clock?

thanks

Qtractor maybe? It can get its BPM from an external midi clock source.
It doesn't really sync though afaik.

yes, qtractor does read tempo(bpm) from midi-clock alright and no, it
doesn't do transport-sync from it whatsoever--jack-transport is the only
option there is

cheers
