I've seen a post where it's missing on the remix version of 12.04 though. Try: modinfo snd_seq_midi This should show if it actually does exist or not. If it does, according to some docs on jackd it may need to be forced at bootup. Worth a try, so add snd_seq_midi on one line in /etc/modules then reboot and check lsmod again.
