Soundcloud does HTML5. It's in embed options.
The slim player is flash. I would have used html5 but it was the size of

You can reduce the horizontal size of the HTML5 widget, the height is
fixed in the iframe at 166px.
Use google chrome if you have troubles with flash on Linux. It
still comes embedded.
Interestingly the HTML5 doesn't work for me on chrome (but I hardly use
it, I mainly use Firefox, interestingly it does work on Chromium).
Also if you are a validation maniac you'll have to mod the iframe and
add a css class (I have a couple of examples of this on my webspace).
