Aha. mmh. right :) Thanks for the backtrace. pthread_getschedparam(jack_client_thread_id (j_client),.. jack_client_thread_id() was always NULL because it was called before jack_activate(). I suppose some systems don't like that, while others simply ignore pthread_getschedparam(NULL,...). I did not dig into pthread implementation just now.
