Running pd at 64 f/p is no problem with a low latency capable kernel.
Hmm, I don't use Pd, and I use jack2 on all three of my music machines
here, with either an RT kernel or kernel 3.2 - and don't get any xruns
on startup. Doesn't sound normal to me.
