Hello,
Any idea to quickly preview audio files (using jack)? I have a huge
sample library (.wav mostly) and I'd love something like a file
browser that previews files when you click them

I have set mhwaveedit:

https://gna.org/projects/mhwaveedit/

to open WAV-files. It is a bit more than just a preview but absolutely not as huge as Ardour. Starts up, shows and plays a 5min-WAV within less than a second. And it works in multiple instances all connecting automagically to Jack

or hover them. Is
there such a thing? Even if i have to open a more complex audio
application and just use its file browser i'd be ok with that
solution.
