Agreed! Looking in a matrix editor it has all the hallmarks of live playing :)

It also plays fine on a not very good 'office' machine with Rosegarden and
qsynth, both FluidR3_GM and GeneralUser GS 1.4 soundfonts

I had a look at the MIDI file in Rosegarden's matrix editor, and there aren't a
particularly large number of simultaneously sound notes, nor are there any
overlapping ones (that can cause note on - note off problems).

It's curious that you only have a problem with that soundfont, very curious.
