Re: Top DSP plugins?

It's also interesting to note that, with the plethora of devices,
plugins and general techniques available today, mmusic production seems
to be sonically convergent. IOW, back when people had less freedom in
terms of choice,
I like this last sentence ;)
they fought harder to create a production sound
specific to them,
It remembers Ray Davis, guit player of the Kinks, explaining how he made his 1st disto with
a valve radio he plugs his guit in, and cut the speaker with his knife...
while today, that self-same freedom seems to be used
to mimic one another as much as possible.
Another side of globalization ?
  (This is speaking broadly, of
course.)
But still true, and it's one of the factors that sometimes
make me wonder why I should invest any more time and effort
into supporting this scene.
I can only speak for myself, but I hope that you never ever stop to come up
with your wonderful programs, plugins, ideas, knowledge and whatever you come
up with. The results of what you do is something I enjoy and use both in
direct and semi direct everyday.
+1 : Please Fons, don't stop ! You, like many others LISTENED on this list are the ones that make this community alive, and no one can ever thank you so much for your work.
