> They will, but I haven't as yet found a way to get things in XP under > Virtualbox to communicate with Linux programs (MIDI or audio). Works fine here. If I recall correctly, you need to install the "guest additions". This is done once you have the xp client running ... it's the <devices> menu. Next, just go to the <devices> menu and enable the USB-MIDI device you have (I'm assume you are using a USB->MIDI, don't know about a MIDI card). Speaking of Virtualbox, awhile ago I created a vbox-share directory in my home directory and in that put a sym-link to my MMA directory. I was then able to mount the vbox-share directory as E: and run my linux/python program from there. I thought this was very cool :) -- **** Listen to my CD at http://www.mellowood.ca/music/cedars **** Bob van der Poel ** Wynndel, British Columbia, CANADA ** EMAIL: bob@xxxxxxxxxxxx WWW: http://www.mellowood.ca _______________________________________________ Linux-audio-user mailing list Linux-audio-user@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx http://lists.linuxaudio.org/listinfo/linux-audio-user
