Hi,

<autopub> Have you tried the Drummer's 'G'igsaw ? <autopub/>

Of course you have to install Lilypond.
I attach a simple example of a quick try.
Copy and paste the following code in MY-SONG.ly
and then randomize the results as you want.
If you open the window of MA-BASE in your Desktop you will be able to
listen to the successive randomisations you manage without shutdown the
'G'gigsaw in the console, so you can tweak...

 \time 4/4
 \tempo 4 = 140

	<bd_\ffff sna_\fff>8 sna16_\ff sna16_\mf sna32_\ffff sna32_\f sna32_\mp
sna32_\fff sna32_\p sna32_\mf sna32_\p sna32_\pp sna8_\ppp \tempo 4 = 24
<bd_\ffff sna_\fff cymca_\fff>16 \times 8/7 { sna128_\f sna128_\p
sna128_\pppp sna128_\sf sna128_\p sna128_\ff sna128_\pppp } \tempo 4 =
52 \times 4/5 { sna32_\sf sna32_\f sna32_\mp sna32_\pp sna32_\pppp }
<bd_\ffff sna_\fff>16 sna32_\pp sna32_\mf |

	<bd_\ffff sna_\fff cymcb_\fff>8 r8 r4 r2 |

I also attach some resulting midis.
MY-SONG-TOTAL-RECALL+veloc.midi : the first output (no randomisation)
Then all randomisations are done in UP and DOWN mode.
MY-SONG-RANDOMIZED-1.midi : randvalvolum = 12 (Volume only)
MY-SONG-RANDOMIZED-2.midi : randvalvolum = 12 (Volume again)
MY-SONG-RANDOMIZED-3.midi : randvaltime = 5 (Time only)
MY-SONG-RANDOMIZED-4.midi : randvaltime = 4 (Time only again)
MY-SONG-RANDOMIZED-4.midi : randvaltime = 2 + randvalvolum = 7

Cheers.
