Polyphony seems not working ( tested with jack-keyboard)
Also switching midi channel per sample sometimes didn't worked correctly.
OK, polyphony is still somewhat borked, but setting the channel (and all
other generator parameters whose widgets are enabled) should work now..
can you retest?
