Does others have similar positive experiences?
Also, does anyone have any experiences to share about the 3.0-rt
kernel releases? I've heard about crashes, and haven't dared try it
out yet. Is the rt patchset even needed anymore?

I've tried, and I'm still using it on one of my machines. It runs just fine for me, but it might be it's my hardware being specific in some way. Rt patchset is smaller with every version, but it's still needed.
