We will also need to have a way to get people on board with a campaign. I think the prize draw option will work quite well. Tweet this hashtag and win a new xxxx from xxxx is a pretty good way of advertising products. > I still agree that we should centralize the action though! > There is a lot that can be done to better present the content that we already produce on a daily basis. We have the following at our disposal: linux-audio-announce http://planet.linuxaudio.org facebook - linux audio group We also have these locations for media soundcloud ccmixter bandcamp myspace youtube http://linuxmusicvideos.com There are also a few forums that we can pull content from: I can't remember all of them. http://linuxmao.org http://linuxmusicians.com We have radio feeds Need some help to remember them all here please. http://radio.linuxaudio.org And there are various sites dedicated to documentation http://apps.linuxaudio.org http://quicktoots.linuxaudio.org http://www.linuxjournal.com/users/dave-phillips We even have a google news feed http://news.google.com/news/section?pz=1&jfkl=true&cf=all&ned=us&hl=en&csid=7761883e5c5cb9b3&ict=ln Pulling all that content alone into one single landing page will make a good start for people who are new or experienced. I can see a few ways to present it. One important consideration will be to make sure that it is easy to add new links, feeds and sections. The other is that is is easy to navigate and read. A third is that it works across all platforms. It could even become a flibboard style meta journal in html5.
