Works just fine in iceweasel 3.5.19 as well as firefox-5.0.1
on debian. Maybe you've disabled javascript in your browser?

Come on. It is as simple as doing 4 multiplications. The cut-off
frequency of an RC-circuit is given by 1/(2*M_PI * R * C).

I have an http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/HP-45 on my desk for such
calculations. Opposed to 'bc' its built-in timer is also handy for
boiling eggs. :)

http://lmgtfy.com/?q=online+calculator+RC
which leads to http://hughestech.com/rc_calculator/
