2011/6/19 Julien Claassen <julien@xxxxxxxx>: > Hello Emanuel! > /etc/hostname > biberei.metal.org > Hello Julien Hostname should only be biberei, not full domain name, AFAICT. Also verify the output of the command hostname, which should say biberei then. In hosts, I suggest to comment out the line starting with 192.168.2.105. Your hostname should point to 127.0.0.1 too, thus add it to the first line: 127.0.0.1 localhost biberei biberei.metal.org # comment out: # 192.168.2.105 biberei.metal.org britney Reboot after that. But since you didn't specify a name when starting telnet, but directly used the IP address, this likely won't solve your issue, there likely is something different left. regards -- E.R. _______________________________________________ Linux-audio-user mailing list Linux-audio-user@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx http://lists.linuxaudio.org/listinfo/linux-audio-user
