A rule of thumb
Don't buy a mic with a switch in the shaft to turn audio on and off.
People will use this switch, even if you offer violence.
It's big fun if there's no signal, just because somebody thought that
such a switch should be used. No EQ can fix that ;).
You will find such useful features as a switch for cheap microphones
only. For expensive, professional microphones there isn't such folderol.
We do pay for experiences, that will avoid stress. This is something to
notice.
