Once again, they may very well work, that doesn't mean they are in
spec, nor does it mean the port does not provide power if they do not
work.  It has much more to do with the computer being out of spec than
the manufacturer or type of enclosure as to whether or not they
work(With the Hard Drive itself making a larger difference than the
enclosure).
