WavPack's Universal Ambisonic playback on linux

[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]

Hey all,

I've downloaded one of the demo recordings for ambisonic playback  (soundofspace.com/ambisonic_files/41)
Its a .ua file, which is wavpack's standard ambisonic audio file type.. AFAIK.

I'm trying to play it back (into AmbDec) but VLC only shows one channel, Ardour won't import it, and other players
that supposedly do support wavpack (QuodLibet) doesn't recognize it at all.

Do i need to uncompress it before playback or whats the deal here?
Cheers, -Harry
