I'd be interested in converting kits to SF2, gig, or SFZ, because
hydrogen has the annoying habit of truncating samples when receiving
midi noteofffs.
You can disable this in Hydrogen's settings; I forget where, and
can't look it up right now, but it's definitely there!
Hmm. I'm using hydrogen minus the GUI, since it's inaccessible. In
".hydrogen/hydrogen.conf" I changed
"<ignore_note_off>false</ignore_note_off>" to true, but behaviour
remains the same.
Here's what the "midi_driver" section of my hydrogen.conf file looks
like, in case it helps:
<midi_driver>
<driverName>ALSA</driverName>
<port_name>None</port_name>
<channel_filter>-1</channel_filter>
<ignore_note_off>true</ignore_note_off>
<discard_note_after_action>false</discard_note_after_action>
</midi_driver>
Thanks
