As long as it has an ipod docking station, people will pay obscene amount of 
money for it...

Maybe another source for this myth is that really low frequencies tend to 
couple from the woofer to the floor to the walls resulting in bass coming from 
all around you. Next time I do plating on one of my walls I will mount a 
speakers coil and stator behind it and leave the cable outside. 8-D
