Well I dont know enough about movie formats to say for sure.
I converted this .mov' to .flv but it was distinctly degraded and the
benefit was only 1 M reduction
In fact this is one of the areas I was wanting to ask people more in-the-know.
openshot gives thousands of choices -- at least it looks that way :-)

Anyhow I guess 12M is a bit large... I'll make a smaller one and put
it up. So far whatever 'common-sense' I used leaves it much the same
(or larger!) -- so I'll just start with a smaller piece.

I think Darrin was referring to the fact that the link only seems to
work with chrome/chromium (for download)... you might consider using
specific video-sharing sites for video instead of google docs....
