Yes. For the newer consoles, you'll need:
* Mixxx 1.8.x
* The vender-supplied kernel module, which you'll
need to compile yourself.
This out-of-tree kernel module won't compile with a recent kernel...
but patching it to work isn't rocket science.
Is the audio part of the console usb class compliant? I.e. could she buy
it and at least get started playing audio before coming up some time for
me to set up the midi controller stuff for her?
