The /opt/lib32/usr/lib/ looks strange. Are the files actually there?

Also, when looking through the code (from http://www.joebutton.co.uk/fst/) I see no reference to any libfst.so and there's a mentioning of having to manually the files fst.exe.so and fst to the same directory

What distro are you running and how did you install fst?
