For those interested, I'm trying to get the libsndfile RF64 implementation correct in spite of the RF64 specification being somewhat flawed [0]. Hi, I think SND for a good while has done automatic conversion from wav to rf64 when the file becomes too large. Sorry if this was old news. :-)
