Mine was Flesh for Fantasy by Billy Idol, also on the c64. Don't know which demo came first (and I'd be surprised if anyone knew the release dates for any of these early demo-scene releases), but the Billy Idol song is an older song.

I have no idea which one came first. I was just amazed that a cheap little home computer could do that while the vaunted PCs couldn't.

The C64's SID (Sound Interface Device) chip was a 4-voice synthesizer with full control over ADSR. Quite a potent little thing!
