Context:

I am using nted to play music from a score.  When it plays the note
currently played is shown in red.
I want to make a 'movie' of this playing-happening.

As of now screen is capturing showing playing but no sound

Maybe this could be helpful: http://www.rncbc.org/drupal/node/219#comment-3859 Ok, it's not recordMyDesktop but FFMpeg and jack_capture, so far more flexible and the results are of a much higher quality (especially the video part).
