Hmmm, my UA-25 works very well on my other machines, with a 48Khz samplerate, 3 periods and 128 frames I manage to achieve a pretty stable set-up with which I do live stuff. And that's on a cheapo little netbook. Ok, there's no other stuff on that specific bus and I use rtirq.
