Fixed.

Reinstallation has reset settings in PulseAudio Device Chooser. I had to launch it and choose Default Sink and Default Server in there, which showed nothing chosen after reinstallation. Restart firefox and all works fine.

Hey guys!

Had choppy sound in Virtual Box. Read somewhere on forums that the solution is to install libsdl1.2debian-pulseaudio. Did that (it uninstalled libsdl1.2debian-alsa). It did not help the chopping issue, plus sound from firefox disappeared. The rest of the sound seems fine.
Okay, uninstalled libsdl1.2debian-pulseaudio, installed alsa package back. However, sound to firefox did not return. Can anyone please help?
