I don't think so.  I bought a new M1010LT a few months ago and it has worked
great in Fedora 13.  It is listed as REV B on the board and has little WEEE
stickers (dumpster crossed out) on it.  I don't see a manufactured date on it
(and don't want to remove it from the case), but I doubt it sat in a box for 3
years.
