See the syntax when qjackctl suggests connecting qsynt, for example. qjackctl is great! By running applications with different jack-names I can easily manage a few setups, qjackctl will not joke on many potential connections. After some practice setting it up is very quick. The rule is: You only connect the patch, the ports of the patch are then connected serially, if available. Slices of an audio buses need just separate patches.
