you already try updating the rtirq script? There's a newer version
available: http://www.rncbc.org/jack/#rtirq

Yes, that's the one I'm using (20090920). It works better... but is... uh... too fast. :-)

And how does your /etc/default/rtirq configuration file look like?

I'm using the stock file provided by rtirq.

I'm giving up and just using `sleep` or a cron job.  :-)
