Hello Ken,

There are several vocoders available for GNU/Linux:
- The vocoder from sirlab, available as a LADSPA plugin and as a
standalone app
- Rakarrack has a vocoder
- The VocProc vocoder from Hyperglitch, available as a standalone app
and as a LV2 plugin

An excerpt of what can be done with VocProc:

The vocoder is on the right ;)
