Heh, my bad! I should've checked who wrote what!

Yeah, the reason I said I had a problem with using jack_capture_gui2 was that it would overwrite the settings in the configuration file, now rectified by Hermann's solution.

I don't understand the problem, why can't you use jack_capture instead of jack_capture_gui2?
