There's also 'lancer', which focuses on speed (SSE optimized, possibly windows only). Only some of the aoTuV changes were incorporated into vorbis version 1.1. However, aoTuV Beta 5 is since years the recommended vorbis encoder to use. I really don't understand why distributions don't ship it.
