I have prelude in C (Bk-1 no 1) in equal, werckmeister and kirnberger
I could pass them on to you to give some sense of why Werckmeister is better for Bach.
Each file is 3.6 M

[Yes I guess I should put it up on the web somewhere -- but I am not much of a pianist...]

It's easy to change. Edit the file stops-***/Aeolus/definition.
Near the top you'll find a line
