chino is mainly a bash script generating scripted sessions around Seq24, pd and Ardour, along with instruments/synthesisers for sound generation. Currently supported instruments are yoshimi, amSynth and some DSSI plugins via ghostess (hexter, fluidsynth-dssi, nekobee, trivial_synth and less_trivial_synth). The user assigns any of the supported instruments to Midi channels, chino should then do the rest - i.e. start a ready-to-play session accordingly and write a script for later recovering it. Be warned, this is my first program and it is still pretty much ALPHA. Any kind of helpful feedback is very much appreciated. Tested with jack1/2 and ardour2, 32 and 64 bit. When time permits, support for more instruments will be added. This is not equally easy for all apps, they for instance need to provide a method for setting the Midi channel without user interaction. url: http://chino.tuxfamily.org tarball: http://download.tuxfamily.org/chino/chino-0.03.tar.bz2 AUR package: http://aur.archlinux.org/packages.php?ID=37192 greetings, d _______________________________________________ Linux-audio-user mailing list Linux-audio-user@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx http://lists.linuxaudio.org/listinfo/linux-audio-user
