This is the file I need to transfer: http://www.jomox.de/upload/updates/X999_OS138.MID Is not a sysex file, best I can tell. The instruction for their windows program at: http://www.jomox.de/upload/tools/SysExdumper.pdf says: "It recognizes the Jomox device and kind of dump (OS/presets) after loading the *.mid file. You just select the midi out port and put the device into reception mode and start the bulk dump on the utility." I got this file too: http://www.jomox.de/upload/updates/ATTENTION_OSUpdate.pdf Which says: "After the dump is complete, the machine copies the new OS into flash memory in order to have a save copy of the user presets and the OS. This takes about another 30 seconds. The XBASE 999/888 will boot itself and come back with the new version number shown as MAIN OS X.xx. The BIOS remains on 1.0x since this is firmware inside." I can put the jomox in the mode that its ready for the transfer. However, SimpleSysexxer is giving me this error, shown with my jack connections: http://braziloutsource.com/random/simplesysexxer.png Not sure how this is supposed to work, any ideas? - R _______________________________________________ Linux-audio-user mailing list Linux-audio-user@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx http://lists.linuxaudio.org/listinfo/linux-audio-user
