Thanks. The ESI RoMI/O II works to some extent although the driver
only seems to see one interface, as far as I understand how MIDI
on Linux works these days :

$ find /dev/ -iname "*midi*"
/dev/dmmidi1
/dev/midi1
/dev/snd/midiC1D0
/dev/.udev/db/sound:midiC1D0
/dev/.udev/db/sound:dmmidi1
/dev/.udev/db/sound:midi1

Got to look into that.
