cherrypal netbooks - MIPS Xburst processor?

Hi everyone,

I'm curious about the Cherrypal Africa netbook:

http://www.cherrypal.com/products.php

For $99, it looks like a great kick-around netbook for console-only
applications. However, it is running a (forgive me if my terms are a
bit off) MIPS Xburst processor. If I wanted to use this is a
text-only synth module or a midi sequencing device, it would need to
run jack. Is this even possible on this architecture?
