Well, I am that "Ardour is best"-type and I must say: as of now Ardour is not the app for removal of a continual noise like hiss. It can be used for the removal of crackles and the like but not for hiss or hum. As it is a pure realtime-app it is not designed for offline-analysis/recalculation jobs. -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v2.0.12 (GNU/Linux) Comment: Using GnuPG with SUSE - http://enigmail.mozdev.org/ iEYEARECAAYFAktoUwMACgkQ1Aecwva1SWPCNgCfQ9LI3ryFV829lyDUvgfyyCWb Jm8AoIK+7XnYng/FbUM1JNFrFmwWTqrn =LbAS -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- _______________________________________________ Linux-audio-user mailing list Linux-audio-user@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx http://lists.linuxaudio.org/listinfo/linux-audio-user
