FWIW, for me, nothing happens. Kernel reports USB device connecting but Alsa
creates no devices. This is on 9.04 Ubuntu with relatively recent Alsa
driver and a patch applied to it (I think it is the same patch, except I
pulled it from the Alsa Wiki).
