There's indeed a mention of it at ardour.org, from Spetember this year:

"Juan Pablo Bouza has a nice short writeup on how to use Blender, the
pre-eminent open source 3d rendering and animation tool, with Ardour, so that they share a common timeline."

But seemingly there's no friggin link to it ! I can't see where the
actual writeup is located.
