When leaving Qsampler, one of two things happens: I either get asked if I want to save the .lscp file I was working on, or I get asked if I want to keep the linuxsampler server running. If I say "no" to either, Qsampler usually (not quite always) exits cleanly and will restart cleanly. If I say "yes" to either, Qsampler always crashes after the timeout-wait period set for the linuxsampler server (I changed it from 1000 to 500 ms), and usually does not restart cleanly the first time, but the second restart is OK.Qsampler loads and runs well -- but when I try to close it, either by the window's closer X or File/Exit, it crashes. Anyone know what I should try?which answer do you give when asked to leave linuxsampler running (surviving qsampler)? if yes try otherwise or vice versa. tell us what you get. it might be something else but that option, leaving linuxsampler server running or else, is one hackery that wasn't proposed by me (but nodded ntl) nor by qt4 in its innards. cheers I am using, by the way, the following: gigedit_0.2.0-1_i386.deb liblscp_0.5.6-1_i386.deb libgig6_3.3.0-1_i386.deb linuxsampler_1.0.0-1_i386.deb liblinuxsampler_1.0.0-1_i386.deb qsampler_0.2.2-1_i386.deb J.E.B. |
