I'm in the same boat as you then. Mine is über-old as well and when I first
learned about not being able to edit my patches on PC, I was a little sad.
But meanwhile my unit is half broken anyway. I stepped on one of the I/O jacks
on the back during a gig and broke the PCB inside. Even though a friend of mine
did a great job trying to repair/resolder the PCB, I can hardly use it anymore.
It still kinda works, but then there's also other problems like scratching I/O and
the like.
