yeah, you can extract that from any midi-clip as well. or for example 
cut up samples and make some fancy beat programming, join those samples 
as a clip and apply the groove of it to a midi-clip (ie. straight 
arpeggio) or another audio one. it's even nice for the orchestral 
compositions I currently do, since you can add slight timing randomness 
to the grooves.
