Hi, I do not know much about audio. The "newmessage.wav" file from http://git.gnome.org/cgit/ekiga/tree/sounds is strange because it is correctly played by aplay, vlc plays it but not the same thing is heard, and xmms does not play it all. Standard windows programs do not play it either. Could someone tell me what's special with this file?
