Make sure you have snd_rawmidi, snd_seq_midi_event and snd_seq_midi loaded in your kernel (lsmod | grep midi) and you have rights to use /dev/snd/midiC0D0. Edit the default.cfg file and change midi.device to /dev/snd/midiC0D0, change any other value you feel like and start it.
