If someone is interested in this topic, that can be done in fuidsynth
1.09 and later, by a midi rpn message in the following way (the
example is for channel 5, and for a pitch range of 12 instead 2, which
is the default):

cc 5 100 0
cc 5 101 0
cc 5 6 12
