I was just able to download it from here:

It's in some of the Gentoo repositories but not others, it seems.  Wasn't 
too hard to find since the guy's domain only expired last week, allowing 
me to get the most recent tarball filename from their cache.  

Makes me wonder if it would be worth it to build a cache of every project 
people announce on LAU, at least those not hosted on something like 
sourceforge.net or launchpad.net.  I wonder how many marginally maintained 
projects are hosted on Geocities, for example, which is closing down 
sometime this year.
